When on holidays it’s very easy for the kids (and grown ups) to fill up on ice creams, chips, soft drinks etc. We’re camping in Italy this year so my cooking resources are limited but I did rustle up these two snacks the other day which went down a treat!
Pumpkin & sunflower seeds with balsamic vinegar and oregano
I put a few handfuls of each seed into a dry frying pan and cooked them over a medium to high heat for about 60 seconds constantly stirring. I then added a couple of tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and a heaped teaspoon of dried oregano and and fried until the vinegar evaporated while stirring. Let them cool before you let them little hands in!
